The Great Wheel turns. Spring and summer arrive to arrest the senses with warmth, color, and whimsy once again.
This is a curated collection of poetry, musings, and photography from adventures spanning nearly a decade of nomadic travel. No matter where I have wandered, nature has always been my medicine, trusted confidant and loyal guide.
Spells of the Sensuous is a prayer to the senses. To the body as scripture. To the Earth as lover, teacher, and friend. To the wild intelligence that moves through all living things and only seeks to remind us of the beauty ever present, and our place in the great tapestry of things.
About this Edition
Spells of the Sensuous is a return to the Garden. A return to pleasure, to beauty, and the joyous celebration of life.
In this Spring/Summer collection of curated works you will find poems, musings, messages and photos from a deep inner journey that has taken me across three continents in search of my self, my purpose, my soul.
It is the natural companion to my Fall/Winter anthology Tales from the Abyss that explores the shadow side of this journey.

We live in a world that moves much too quickly; words are skimmed and meaning is consumed rather than felt. This work was not written for that pace. Tasting it slowly is part of the medicine.
There is no hierarchy of pleasure in these pages. Ecstasy and peace, wildness and stillness, the sacred and the sensuous — they are all one and the same. The Earth knows this.
