I excelled as an entrepreneur in the design industry, I had the expensive loft in Montreal’s hippest neighborhood. I wore the wardrobe of success. I did what I wanted, fucked who I wanted, I partied, took drugs, experimented. I thought I was free—until my debt racked up and my body began to SCREAM: PCOS, erratic periods, UTIs, skin infections, pregnancies, miscarriages, abortions. In 2012, I hit a point of no return. I closed my company, left my city and everyone I knew, and embarked on a journey to travel the world on a one-way ticket and find true power.
